The Story of Sailors Bookmarks
On the shores of the Baltic Sea in Jūrmala thrives a Sea Library. Anna Iltnere opened it a few years ago following her passions: the sea and reading. There is also Kids Sea Library.
To support Kids Sea Library with new titles for young readers, Anna learned how to weave. Sailors Bookmarks are inspired by books in the library and by the ever-changing sea nearby.
Woven on a hand-made loom with lots of love, Sailors Bookmarks are unique souvenirs from the fabled Sea Library in Latvia.
Bookmarks have traveled to readers in Australia, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Ireland, Latvia, New Zealand, Sweden, Qatar, UK and USA. They are available in shops in UK and Portugal. Ord
